in stress management, it's important for you to manage the following:
- the symptoms (i.e, effects of stress on you),
- the triggers (i.e, the immediate causes of your stress),
- the aggravating factors (i.e, elements in your situation which worsen your stress),
- the root causes (i.e., original source of your stress).
if you just "band aid" your symptoms, then don't expect your stress to disappear.
